So I have the solid turbo twists on my '99, I like the look, but I am considering tracking down a set of the 408 build code hollow spoke rims. I see a number of "Hollow spoke" turbo twists showing up, but they typically only show size and part numbers, which vary. "These will work on your 996" doesn't necessarily mean they're were specific to 408 code rims.

Could anyone tell me which size/part number is associated with the rims that were supplied under the "408" build code?

408 are the 993 techno wheels, The correct size for the 99 would be 10" rear ET65 7.5" front ET50

You could use a 8" in the front.

993.362.140.01 10"
993.362.134.05 7.5"
993.362.136.00 8"

There seem to be more of the 996 turbo wheels. The 11" will stick out 33mm farther than the 10" so you don't want those.
