Went for a drive a couple weeks ago, my 99 996 was running great. Next day got in and the idle sits a 2k rpm, after a minute or two it starts jumping down to 1k then immediately back up to 2k and then back to 1k. Over and over again. It’s not throwing any codes. I pulled the IAC, throttle body, and MAF and cleaned them but it hasn’t helped. Any ideas? Thanks!

 

Mass air sensor is bad or you have a air hose leak

 

Turned out to be the IAC i case anyone else runs into this issue
