Ive searched these threads, what seems to be almost endlessly to me, and cannot find a good answer to where the engine deck lid emergency release cable is located and how to access it. My deck lid actuator has quit working.

Do anybody have an answer? Not for the frunk, there is a ton of answers to that question and I already have a cable solution in place for that... I need the engine compartment deck lid release cable.

Behind the driver side tail light. That doesn’t help 😣

Thanks Carlo... how do I get to it to release the decklid if my actuator has failed and I cannot remove the tail light?

Here is how it runs. You can see where it comes out from the engine compartment on the right side of the photo. I tucked it under the bumper cover, but yours may sit differently. Fabricate a little hook to run under the taillight to snag it.
