Does anybody have the part # for the removable cupholders that clip on to the outer vents on the dashboard?

Is that a Porsche part as claim? I can't find it from the Porsche site.

That is the vent style. Came as original equipment on the 1997 Boxster but were pulled from the cars. Friend in Germany picked one up for me years ago when we could not get them in the US.

They are listed as available for up to '99 model year. Not sure if they fit the '00-on models:

They require 3 mounting holes in the vent. 1997-2000 Boxsters have the holes. The holes when away in 2001 when the 2nd style cup holders came out. Check for the holes but I think they also went away in 2001 for the 996.

I cheaped out. Bought a generic cupholder that sits on the floor for about $10. Manufacturer is Cobbs Manufacturing, now Bell (as in helmets). Item is called an Octopus. Available everywhere. About a 5.5"base and will fit cups from 2.25" to 3.5" or so.
