HELP! I have a 2004 Porsche 996 Convertible Turbo and the dome light is coming on and off at random times, I hear a clicking in the passenger's door and wondering if something is loose in there, I cannot see a door actuation switch on the door or door opening, anyone know where the switch resides and how to fix it? The dome lights work properly from the Dome switches and the light goes out when I lock the car.

 

It's built into the door latch. The door latches have little switches in them that go bad. Seems like this may be the problem.

 

Thanks, theprf, maybe I'll be able to check it out this weekend, hopefully I'll be able to be tightened, I'm searching the internet for replacement.
