Been thinking about the same thing.

I give the nod to the C4S because it doesn't have the rear spoiler, and therefore (IMO) looks better. If you begin to consider the difference in performance then the comparison could easily shift to the inclusion of the GT2 and GT3. This would assume that you didn't absolutely have to have AWD in the performance mode.

And to throw you for a complete loop, you could also have a Z8!

My question to you is "If you can afford a Turbo why would you even consider a car that just mimics the looks of the Turbo but displays none of the performance characteristics"?

I say get the real thing...

I fought the same problem and opted for the TT.
I was very close to ordering a C4S, but after thinking about the exclusivity/rarity of the turbo and the value of it compared to the C4S at any later date , I decided the turbo was my right decision.
I somewhat agree with Colm on the spoier, but I also do not like the one piece tail light of the C4s.
Whichever you choose , you won't be wrong.
Good luck.

Easy to change the spoiler. Drive both. Once hooked on turbo, the NA is just not as satisfying.

Turbo is the way to go. Aside from performance, you don't get the RMS problem with a turbo.

No RMS problem with the Turbo? Why.

I think the C4S is still suseptible to RMS, but not TT or GT2.

I actaully really like the rear deck lid and continued red reflector on the C4S Cab. If money were absolutely no object I might have opted for the TT but it wouldn't have been a slam dunk.

But I believe the main reason has to be the dollar factor. With the tt cab being an easy 30-40K more. That's a lot of money for 95 horses.

If you are that concerned about performace then I wouldn't even look at a cab. Just buy a TT or GT2/3 and mod it for the track.

But like I said if money is no object then go with whatever looks nicer to you.

The Turbo and GT3 use a different engine block than the 996 engine used in the c4s. I certainly have not heard of any RMS issues with the TT.

I have read that the 996TT engine is a dry sump and a derivative of the 964/993 engine case.
