I refilled the hydraulic fluid. The screw does not have copper washer. (likely been filled before). Should I suck out old hydraulics and replace all of it?? Is the copper washer a deal breaker??
The top opens 25%. Then I can push it and it flops all of the way closed leaving rear lid section still open. I read that I can open back seat and screw it shut??
If that is the case, I'll can live with it. I have Fister sports exhaust and there isn't gratification without open top. Or, I can drive around looking stupid with the rear section still open.

Your hydraulic ram (the device that lifts the top) is leaking and must be rebuilt or replaced. I had mine rebuilt (Craig Kunins 727-692-4505; no affiliation with me) and removal installation procedures are covered with many YouTube videos. The copper washers are important, and are best to source from Porsche dealers.

The top flops down. I am able to electronically shut it if I manually lift. With top down, clam case is still open. I many be able to crank it shut, not sure, by going through back seat. Is it safe to drive with clam case open? I know it looks stupid, but I have a Fister sport exhaust I gotta hear.
