Default Can I Run These Tires and Rims

I've come across a great deal for some used tires and rims. The sizes - Front 235/35/19 and the Rear 315/35/19. I currently run 225x40x18 and 285x30x18 and I am lowered on coilovers. Car, 2003, 966 C2 Cabriolet. Can I run the new tires/rims without issue?

Depends in the width and offset of the rims, how much camber u want to run and if the fender lips r rolled. Chances r u will have to do a lot to make them fit and u wont like the ride.

as dejeeper stated difficult but not impossible
I have run on 2 sets of 19s 235/35/19 and 295/30/19 good fitment
and 235/40/19 285/30/19 they do fill the wheel wells
but went 18s for better tire selection

I wouldn't go to 19's, especially on a lowered car.

I've only seen the rear sizing used on wide body cars but like DeJeeper said, the wheel offset will have a lot to do with this. FWIW, a 315 rear might look cool but is a total overkill for our cars. 295 is the max you really want, especially on the street. There might be more benefits for track but definitely no need if you have a street car. I've been beyond happy with stock GT3 sizes on 18s.

Not to mention the rake will be thrown off with those tire section heights, shorter in the front taller in the rear.

You guys are killing me - LOL. Thanks for confirming what I was already thinking. I really wanted them but they are more trouble than what they are worth. This forum always steers me in the right direction. Back to the search I go.
