Default What is the difference between GH-99603s and GH-99603 ?

Hi, I’m from Japan recently I bought 911 (996) Carrera 4 Cabriolet ( white color).
The model code is GH-99603S , year 2002, 6MT, the engine code is 03S.

The previous owner say that the car is rare or limited. It’s not a anniversary or millennium edition.
I searched many websites and many auctions there is no even one car in this model code (99603S). All the vehicles are in Without “S” only 99603.
The anniversary cars model code also GH-99603S . But my car is not the anniversary car. I’m not knowledgeable about Porsche .

If anyone knows about this please help me to know about difference between the model codes (99603 and 99603s). Thank you

An "S" in your engine code indicates an X51 engine package. What are ther options listed on the sticker under the front hood panel? If you post a picture of this sticker the group can help you decipher all the factory options.

Looks like you have the X51 Power Pack motor which was a pretty rare option that was added to these cars. Came standard on 40AE cars but anywhere else it was a decent upcharge. I think around $9k USD. If you look at the motor, you should also see an aluminum intake manifold. Gets you 25HP extra over a base motor.

Along with the X51 package, you also have the Sport Suspension option and Front/Rear full leather seats. What really makes it special is the X51.
