Hi all,
I wanted to asked, how would I know if my car is a RHD to LH conversion. How could I check with the VIN? I have the 071 EU country version option code. But when I went here in Austria for a TUV inspection they noted that my light were UK and the rear foglight was on the right side as opposed to left.
How can I find out and how can I switch so that the rear foglamp is on the lest side.
Thanks!

It's an awful lot of work so I doubt it has been done, although I know a guy who did it to an BMW M3 E46 from R to LHD.
Does it show a Cxx code on the option sticker (see inside frunk lid) that indicates a RHD country? https://philipraby.co.uk/porsche-country-codes
I hazard a guess that your car originally had Amber indicator lights and the swap to clear ones (or halogen to litronic) was cheapest by getting RHD lights from the UK that are less sought after hence cheaper.
Rear is easy I believe, just transfer the bulb from right to left lamp.
To correct the beam pattern ofbrhw headlights probably requires either opening up the headlights and turning the cut-off so that the left half of each beam is horizontal as opposed to the right half or buy LHD lenses: https://www.rosepassion.com/en/parts-porsche-boxster-986-1997-eu-boxster-2-5-cabrio-manual-gearbox-5-speed/lighting-335/headlight-336/p560434-inner-headlamp-lens-replacement-kit-boxster-986-996-98-2001-pair-pair-3720-0-560434
What shape headlight do you have and are they Halogen or xenon/litronics?

I can't think of any good reason to convert a RHD to a LHD, you would need to rebuild steering wheel, pedals, change the whole dashboard etc, it would be so much work for nothing (considering there are plenty of LHD cars all ready). So most likely just a LHD car with UK lights.
I bought a VW Karmann Ghia from the UK once - a LHD version - and the front lights was UK version so I had to change those (I live in Norway). It was originally imported from the US. So some brits do drive LHD versions of cars and some regular LHD cars can naturally end up with UK lights.
