Default Updating rear lights

I am looking for some assistance from those of you more knowledgeable in 996 lighting and electronics.

To begin, some information about my car. It is a 1999 996 Carrera 4 Cabriolet, finished in guards red over black with a 6spd. It is almost exclusively a weekend car that sees use during the day.

I have noticed that since purchasing this car the lights are not very bright. This isn't too big of a deal because this car is rarely ever out at night. I would like however to have nice bright tail lights so I don't find myself rear-ended if I am ever out at night. My CHMSL is also starting to fail so I have decided I want to do a full rear LED swap.

Based on the recommendation of other threads that I have seen, it appears as though the DelReyCustoms 996 narrowbody tail lights would be exactly what I want. (https://delreycustoms.myshopify.com/...ec90ee27&_ss=r)

My next order of business is to find a (hopefully matching set) CHMSL to accompany the tails. I did some poking around and came across DelRey's 996 wide body LED CHMSL... which is exactly what I want but claims to only be for the TT and C4S (https://delreycustoms.myshopify.com/...tt-and-c4s-wid)

I did some digging into the part number because I found it strange that a part like that would be specific to only those models. According to USPorscheParts (https://www.usporscheparts.com/oem-p...IFJlc3VsdHM%3D), the part that the website claims to replace has been replaced by and is the same as the part linked. What caught my eye is that this part was not limited to only the widebody models. This got me looking even further into 996 CHMSLs than anyone should know about.

What I found was another part that is differentiated by a single digit in part number and is as far as I can tell literally the exact same piece, however this part does work with my '99 C4. Found here (https://www.oemvehicleparts.com/oem-...mp-99663105006).

My questions ends up being: Is there any difference in these two parts? Will this CHMSL and Tail Light set work in my car? I do not want to waste $700+. If it will not work, do any of you have suggestions for a different set?

Thanks so much for any light y'all can spread!

My C4 for reference
