99 c2 manual won't start
99 c2 won't start. The lights to interior are on. Clutch is pushed in all the way. When I turn the key, there is no sound at all. No loss of lights. Nothing. It isn't the battery since I took one from my other car and tried that.
So what would be the next step? Is there a certain relay or fuse to check? If so which and where is it located?

First thing I would try with a no cranking is go underneath and on the clutch pedal is a micro switch with two wires, pull them off and connect them together and check cranking. Myself I don't like having a clutch switch at all and leave it off so I can start without the clutch and prevent thrust bearing wear.

Is your floorboard wet under your driver’s seat?
I agree with checking clutch pedal switch.
Check/replace ignition switch.
RockAuto is good cheap source.

(I keep several spares on hand for testing)

The saga continues.
Ok so the ignition switch was replaced, and car still does not start.
Are the fuses and relays the next item?
This is so weird. As all that had changed is the battery was disconnected and connected.

remove the starter relay and jump with a piece of wire. I believe its from terminal 30 to 87? Make sure that ignition switch is turned to ON.
I did it a handful of times when I was working on my transmission swap.
Just make sure the car is not in gear!

yeah, jump between pin 30 and 87 on relay panel. You will have to turn key to start position.
Or swap relay for secondary air with the start lock.

Problem solved. I changed the ignition switch, no start. Bypassed clutch switch, no start.
I checked fuses, all good. I then checked the starter relay under the rear carpet. I took the relay next to it, and switched them. Car started. I should have known owning a 928s4, relay relay relay......

Thank you for all that made suggestions on helping me out.
