Default Cel codes on the 99.

This is the second time whiting the last couple of months CeL comes in. 99, fab speed x pipe no cat with the cheaters. Anyway the codes are 1126 and 1124. I do now that at least two of the 02 sensors had 993 part numbers when we were putting the x pipe on. Now since both banks are there , the fix finder said to look at the mass air flow sensor. Unfortunately the part store was out of the crc mass air sensor cleaner which I wanted to try first. The car has the Carrera 3.8 s airbox. Suggestions recommendations will be greatly appreciated Car seems to run great.

Remove the K&N (I think I remember I gave you my old K&N) air filter and clean the MAF.

Oh, maybe I gave it to Justin or Rick or Zeshaan or Chris or…
If you can’t find any let me know.
I’m fairly certain I have some.

Engine has been pulled and is being disassembled this week.

I guess now the whole tamale is the R
engines at FSI/LN. I’m going to wait on doing the dyno tune on the turbo so we can compare your 4.0 and the turbo. Yes I know you’ll have to break it in, that’s fine, The turbo is ridiculous fast as it is. Thanks.

I am throwing those codes as well. I replaced the MAF and it was good for a few months then they came back. I’m pretty certain mine are being caused by vacuum leaks. I hooked it up to a machine and found 3 places smoking like a chimney.

I’ll work on it to see what happens. As long as I get to pass Texas inspection I don’t give a fck. Pretty soon it’ll be a classic no emissions at all.
