Dying at idle after o2 sensor replacement?

Replaced both the upstream and downstream bank one O2 sensors on my C4S, after code P2096 came up. I did the upstream sensor two days ago and had no issues. Did the downstream sensor today, and the car was shutting itself down after a rev to 3k. Then it'd shut down if I didn't give it a little throttle—wouldn't hold idle. This was after the car sat idling steady all the way to full temp with no issues. I had no issues with the upstream O2 sensor (link to part from FCP Euro), which appears to be OEM. I used this one, Bosch 0258006541, in the downstream position. I drove the car, and it seems fine now. Just wondering what the heck that was about!

U may want to disco the batery and reset the computer. Maybe the new sensor messed with the learned values. Also possible do and e-gas reset. Doubt its the issue but always good to do if having idle issues.

OP - If you have a Durametric, Foxwell/Schwaben scanner, you should check the readings to find if the two are playing nice together. The link below can get you pointed in the correct direction. Ahsai posted a lot about our vacuum and O2 systems through the years. At .44V the sensor is at 14.7. More is lean and less is rich. Also check any one of the post cat wires for DC voltage.
