I recently ordered gasket seals from Stoddard and then separately a car cover.

Here is my PSA though... I purchased the gasket seals from Stoddard and got my receipt and then noticed that final shipping costs "Final Shipping Charges Are Calculated After Order is Packaged. Please note in comments if you need parts by a certain date and your preferred delivery method."... so you dont know what this will cost until later.
At the risk of being a douche on the first instance I complained and they refunded the uknown shipping cost.
This time around ... I placed my order and then sent a follow up email if they can confirm the shipping cost cause no cover is worth $100 in shipping lets say.
Of course I did not hear back ... then i got a shipping notification from UPS ... and now I see a charge on my credit card where I have been charged for the cover and then a $30 shipping fee after being invoiced by email only for the cover...

Has anyone else experienced this?

 

Yup. Ordered a LNE 2qt deep sump kit from them because they had it listed for a great price. Shipping costs erased most of the savings. Haven't ordered from them since.

 

@yaz996 I dont want to be the douche again and dispute the charge.... but it is 2022 .... shipping calculators shouldnt be this hard to come by.
