Default MaxQData and ECU

Has anyone used the MaxQData system on a C2 996?

Does anyone happen to know the ISO conformance of the 996 C2's OBD-II system? Is it either ISO 9141-2 or is it ISO 14230/KW2000 or something else?

Does anyone have any techincal details of the C2 996's stock ECU unit? In particular, I believe it is a Bosch motronics ME7.2. I'm considering purchasing an MXL Pro from AIM but they will need the ECU's protocols inorder for the unit to capture data from the ECU. Anyone have any leads on how I could go about getting the stock ECU's protocols?

Thanks for anyhelp,
Bart

Just got off the phone with my dealer. It seems that for my model year (2001) that the OBD-II is ISO 15031 compliant and conforms with SAE J 2012.

Now, checking out the ISO site, 15031 is a big beast so I need to go do some research on what exactly being 15031 compliant means. SAE J 2012 looks to be just a specification for diagnostics.

The ECU appears to be as I expected, an Bosch Motronics ME7.2.

Does anyone have pointers on where to get documenation for things like my ME7.2?
