Hi everyone- help needed. I bought a 2002 996 C4S this year in April and I recently came across a button in the passenger side footwell that I have no idea what it does. It is not the spoiler button it is separate and looks like it was fitted post manufacture. By process of elimination I have absolutely no idea what it does, doesn’t seem to affect any of the in car electronics or the sports exhaust. Any ideas? See the video here for a better idea of it.

I’m not seeing a video. If your car has an aftermarket stereo with DVD playing capability, it may be a switch to bypass the safety feature that prevents DVD playback while moving.

Thanks for your reply and sorry - I was having issue with the video upload but seems to have worked now. It is the original PCCM unit in the front - I did find out it had the Bluetooth upgrade added in 2015 (Elektronik-Idee) but this button doesn't seem to have any impact on that.
