Default New Squeaky brakes

I bought my 03 Porsche 996 TT in sept from an indy shop that replaced the front rotors and brakes. It sat for a month or 2 before it came to me and I have been driving it round. The brakes squeak though and I was hoping after driving it hard it would go, but no. Is there a way to get rid of it with out taking the brakes apart? If I do have to, is there anything I need to do so I dont put them all back together and find they squeak again? Any advice greatly appreciated, thanks

what pads did you put on? I replaced my front brakes on my C4S (same brakes as the Turbo) with Brembo discs and pads and have the same issue. My specialist that I use for bigger jobs advised me the Porsche OE pads have a special compound to remove the squeaking so I’m stuck with the noise until I change them next time. I guess sometimes the Porsche tax on parts is worth it.

Sometimes its the pads, sometimes the rotors? Were the dampers on the pads replaced? If not many have reported that they do make a difference.

^ That

I put these -> https://www.fvd.net/de-en/FVDBSK3529...996-c2-c4.html and I haven't heard any squeaking. If I would have to guess check those dampers and make sure that they are correct ones and installed properly.

Those look to be OEM Porsche pads so if installed correctly won't squeak. I used Brembo pads and they squeak even with the dampers properly installed. Lesson for me was, buy OEM pads from now on. Since the breaks work I won't rush to replace them right away and will wait for spring maintenance to swap them even if not completely finished.

I didn’t realize the fit kit was old and I swapped them all… hopefully it’ll quiet the brakes too.
