Headlights Seem Really Low (Looking for options)
Ever since I have had my 996 it seems like the headlights are really low (physically pointed down). I feel like the light beam only shines out about 10-15' in front of me while I am driving at night. Compared to my other car, the headlights seem abysmal... turning on brights is a bit better but still worse than the 'low-beam' setting on my newer economy sedan.
The headlights are fairly new as they were replaced about a year ago now (OEM ones). They appear to be self-adjusting as they do the same headlight dance (go down and back up) that my Panamera does when I turn the ignition. I have had them 'adjusted' at a local mechanic and it does not seem to have improved at all (looks almost the same). I honestly feel like I am driving blind at times during the night, which is quite nerve wracking since I am in a rural setting with deer and other wildlife waiting to jump out on the sides of the road.
Have any of you had similar experiences with your headlights / have any recommendations? I think either I should take them back to the mechanic that adjusted them and have them do it again, OR try it myself (I looked up a video online and it seems fairly simple); my concern is that since my lights are "self-adjusting" is the manual headlight adjustment process any different (or do all 996's have "self adjusting" headlights)?
Another thought of mine is replacing the bulbs with a reputable pair of 2-sided LEDs, I know they come in pretty straightforward kits now and was wondering if anyone has had any good experiences with this? I am not interested in the aftermarket LED headlight assemblies I've seen on eBay / Amazon as I prefer the stock headlight look.
Any help or advice is appreciated, thanks!

Yea those r litronic. They just need to be adutsted. A long metric allen is needed, i think its a 5mm? U wil have to do a quick search to choose the correct access gromett and direction to spin the adjuster.

Its super easy to adjust the lights with the factory tool. you should also consider doing this cheap mod to your litronics.
