Default Engine

Can I start my 1999 911 engine with transmission removed and engine supported by Porsche support bar used to remove transmission?

It shouldn't be a issue as long as the flywheel remain on the engine for the starter and engine position sensor to read,

Also make sure the harness and hoses r secrured so the flywheel doesnt grab them

Probably have to bypass the clutch switch, I don’t think the Slave cylinder will like the pedal depressed without clutch fork back pressure?
