I recently purchased my 996 from a private seller in Jacksonville, and I'm in Ohio. I had it inspected by Bavarian Rennsport, and they said it was a pretty solid car with no issues, so I proceeded with purchase and shipping. Now that I've had it for a month, I've realized they missed some obvious issues that should have been reported. I probably still would have purchased it even if they had pointed them out, but if I lived in the JAX area, I probably wouldn't use them unless they were the only choice. Just my $0.02.
