Folks:
I understand that cabriolets with the Bose option have slightly different floor mat requirements - ie: Porsche has a different part number for their floor mats for Cabs with Bose because of a "bump" in the footwell(s). Can anyone confirm this? Is it still possible to use floor mats from other companies that have been designed for the 911s, or will they look unsightly? I was going to order a custom set but pretty much every company I have spoken to are unaware of the special requirements for Cabs with the Bose option.
Any advise is appreciated. Thanks.

You are absolutely correct. When I got my '02 I found that the mats were much too big for the car. I called the dealer and we realized that (somehow) the wrong mats got put back in my car when they were getting it ready for me. They ordered a new set - It took about 6 weeks as they were not available and had to be ordered from Germany.

Yes - the parts are separate for the bumpout on the passenger side footwell on cars with Bose. Mats from Porsche and many others are available.

I wish I would have known this before I ordered new floormats 2 weeks ago. However, if you order Lloyd Mats from Mat Depot, they show you the colors, allow you to get model designations, and have an option for cabs with bose sound package. I just ordered another set of Lloyd Mats from them last night. The Lloyd Mats look very nice compared to the factory mats and are much softer. I am curious if they are as durable as they claim to be. If anyone is interested in my non-bose sound ultimats send me an email.
