Default Got to wait for just about everything on our cars

As an example, I have always had around a year- long wait for an engine, since my Aircooled days. Back then people expected the wait, and they'd call well in advance, or if the car broke out of the blue, they'd know that a wait would be associated with the experience. I can only think of a handful of times where someone was shocked that out took a year for my level of work to be completed.

Today 75% of people with the 996 and newer cars are astonished that they have to wait for even more than one week for an engine to be built for their car...
I guess patience isn't part of the 21st Century culture... Unless you are here, where everything steps back in time to around 1988. Like it, or not.
I now have a relationship with a part salesman at a Porsche dealer. He gives me shop prices. Anyway I ordered the amp bracket for my car. Over 7 days already . May be here Monday.

leaving money on the table is the only way to stay clean these days!
after dealing with the worst kind of people in over 100 countries around the world nothing surprises me from an individual, I expect the unexpected. I looked at 5 individual Porsche shops before making the decision of who I’m working with. Squirrel introduced me to a guy that worked for one of the shops and I drove my car to his house to do the first oil change fix a few minor things and meet the guy in person. I loved the guy, I told him if he needed capital I will help him. Anyway today I have referred 5 guys to him. Also to test the waters, I called all 5 shops, the job was to replace AOS with hoses, would you believe that in the Houston area non Porsche dealership someone quoted $2326, my best quote and that was the shop that I liked the best was $1,000 but that also included installing a new drive belt. That particular shop is in a rural area, so their rent or costs are lower, also when I took my car out there the manager put my car on a lift got a flashlight and basically did a fast ppi no charge. I’m glad that I don’t work no more and I don’t have to deal with asshlss I don’t like. My work today is just to manage my investments, made a ton of money this week. Almost bought a 2004 C4s with 70,000 miles, owner did not took my max offer on dealtank.

Not happening.
I like to work and have patience. I’m currently reading War and Peace.

Sweet! That's one heck of a deal! Let us know how you get on with it and if you have any luck performing the scoping procedure from the sump.

Pcola's scope is the same brand I posted earlier. for me it worked great and even at 50 some dollars, it's well worth it for other uses as well. When I was installing my wrist pin clips, I screen mirrored the video to a large screen tv that I have in my garage which made it even easier to see what's going on as you can show both the side video and the straight on video in the same shot.

Scope works great. But don't buy based on the gift card. Review done long ago. No gift card. No response to emails.

I’m uncertain if this gadget will ever be handy, pun intended. But for $15, wth? Many choices on Amazon.

The Teslong NTS 500 mentioned above for 250 is 212.49 plus a 20 coupon bringing it below 200 today on Amazon. I couldn't help myself!
