When I bought my car last summer it came with one, albeit broken and so it got tossed out. Not that I'm opposed to replacing it (haven't looked at cost yet), but low on the list of things that I'd like to replace or work on.

Don't listen to the sarcastic naysayers. It's definitely an improvement if you're driving on a highway or at reasonable speed. It probably doesn't make much of a difference under 40 mph.

You don't have to flip it down with the top up, the deflector doesn't interfere.

Made the mistake of showing it to my wife = top stays up until wind stop goes on. It also keeps things stored in back from being liberated by the wind.

Just be careful about reclining the seat too much, they can get broken that way. But plastic epoxy will help with that repair. Otherwise, get one and use it, your wife will love you even more.

Understood, I just don’t like looking through it when I don’t need to.

I tried that, but wouldn't work for me as I couldn't get the seat far enough back for comfortable driving. At 6'4", I need all the leg space its got.
