Default New to the fold

I’ve been searching for a normally aspirated narrow body 996 C2 to compliment my 02 Turbo(aka Prom Queen). This has been a crazy and to me,unimaginable year long odyssey. I’ve been the bridesmaid on 4 of the last cars that appealed to me.

37,000 mile (now 38,500), 2-owner factory aero Canadian market car with factory sport seats with 18” Sport Classics.

My original intent was to use the normally aspirated car as my dedicated hpde driver but the “Track Honey”, as my tech buddy named her, is as nice as her sibling & this is posing somewhat of a application dilemma (at least for the moment).

I’ve got a set of 996 GT LWB seats and some Fikse Profil 13 wheels in GT3 spec ready to go in & on after we get the new clutch, pulleys, belts, water pump, coolant reservoir, upgraded LN IMS. RMS and the Bilt 2qt. deep-sump oil pan. Figured that covers all the “insurance” areas and is a good start in “let’s get better at driving” than just hauling ***. Her big sister is quite good at that.

I do have a penchant for Artic Silver...

So did you acquire the Aero? If so, it’s beautiful! Nothing like having both a NA and TT. I fully support.

Great looking C2 and nice list of upgrades. If track time is the main goal, you might want to refresh the brakes (ex: sebro slotted rotors, track pads, SRF fluid). Enjoy!
