I found the stand takes up too much space in my crowded garage, I did get the cover and hung it on the wall and it has been fine ever since.

 

I got one off ebay for relatively cheap, been holding up fine over the last 2.5 years of ownership. Didn't even put the hard top on last winter, only took it off to finally do paint correction and coating on it and its been just fine.

 

2 996 hard tops. One stand. Black/black and red/black. Both show wear but price is whatever you want to pay. Stand is $50. Little Rock.
