Default Suspension creak after alignment?

I recently had my 99 C2 aligned, maybe 2 weeks ago. The dreaded suspension creak devolped since then and seems to be getting louder. Car has 62k miles and H&R coil overs.

im still just learning about these cars. I’m going to lift it to see what’s going on. The sound feels like it’s come from right behind the hub of the front passenger wheel. Happens with vertical movement, not with steering/turning. Oddly enough when I’m at full lock and push down, no creak. I shot lubricant at all the bushings in the lower control arm, no improvement at all.

Could the tech have left something loose while making adjustments that would lead to creak?

when I lift the car should the suspension be loaded or unloaded? What points would have been adjusted during the alignment?

I suppose this could be coincidence and my LCA ball joint went bad? If it’s coming from there I may try injecting lube into the boot as a diagnostic and temporary silencing measure until it gets replaced. thanks in advance.

I would have turned around and went right back to the shop that did the work. Could be a number of things but they obviously would be able to help figure it out quickly.
Yes it could be coincidental...

The LCA/Coffin arm ball joint is famous/infamous for this particular creak. Yes, injecting grease into the (most likely) dry grease-boot will quiet it down temporarily. Unfortunately, it won't remain that way, as the grease now has an easy way out (via the injection hole, maybe the boot is already torn?). The worst part is that when you change out the LCA you'll technically need to have it re-aligned...
