I picked up a turbo bumper cover for my 03 c2 cabriolet it was off a 03 turbo. I tried fitting but noticed the bottom screws don’t line up and I’ll need to find the 40 AE edition adaptor piece of make my own. My main question is what needs to be done to the metal bumper or the grills in order for the bumper to fit. It seems the bumper fits right behind the upper grills and pushes them out.

Do I need to cut the factory alloy bumper?

I think the Turbo/C4S bumper's curved differently. You probably need the aluminum bar from a Turbo/C4s. You're also going to need the left and right radiator ducts. You may need the center radiator duct, maybe not. I think the front left and right undertrays are different too.
