Default Repair convertible top seal?

2003 C2 Cab
Seal above the passenger side rear window has a rip that folds over when the window is raised. I've been raising the window in small increment with my finger on the rip. Figured buy a replacement piece for $50 bucks. Looked at Pelican and a couple of others - $220!
Figured remove and glue some thin flexible layer to the underside. Anyone ever repair one of these? Ideas?

Try autoatlanta, they're an east coast (Atlanta, GA) that has a great listing for OEM parts. I've found several smaller, sort of obscure parts there and they ship fast and the prices are reasonable too. My 2001 C2 Cabriolet needed a couple of things as well as I swapped out a couple of the dash/console items (CD holder/stowage tray and cigarette lighter stowage area box), anyway the selection of OEM parts is great, good luck to you!
