Default Leaking AOS Vent Connection - Loose connection?

I ran a smoke test and found a leak at what I believe is the AOS vent connection. It seemed a little loose and I was able to pull it apart easily but I'm sure that's not how its supposed to disengage. I would think the silver/metallic c-clip holds the join together but I'm not sure why the top connector is able to come out easily like that. Is the failure on the AOS line of the connector on the engine side? How is the joint supposed to come apart?

Its a quick disco. I think u r suppose to push the grey clip out to release it. There were 2 versions of the set up. Pre 2000 is a little different from the newer ones but im not sure of the details. A google search wull get u some details.

Part 22 if u need a new one.
