Nice looking car! I just sold all three of my 996's to a Porsche dealer. Not sure what I'll do next.
I think your price is reasonable and I hope you get it!

Car was submitted to BaT earlier today. It'll be my 2nd sale there. I had a good friend take photos and videos for me. Here is the video.

Best of luck on BaT. Very much appreciate your honest write-up about your car. Will be watching and rooting.

I was going to say you should post this on BaT, seems like the perfect time to get onto an auction site. What is the timeline for getting on there?

Just sold a car on BaT and wait was indeed about four weeks. Good luck!

So they turn down 50% of potential sales but I've seen a spat of cars lately that I wouldn't think would make the cut. There have been some questionable cars up on there recently and a bunch of total loss cars.

Those are the fact about what is accepted. You and I are not the deciders what they accept. Nor are those that write inappropriate comments for cars for sale.

Just like they are free to pick the cars they want I am free to give my opinion on those cars. I don't even know if I've ever actually posted on auction but when you tout yourself as an exclusive place to sell nice cars and you start listing cars with questionable backgrounds, sellers and vehicles that don't even have clean titles its not unreasonable to ask why? I get that its a business and they are in it to make money but its just something I've noticed recently.

By now any seller posting on BaT knows about the trolls or whatever you want to call the non-bidder commentators. Anticipating the comments and addressing it up front in the listing is what makes a seller successful. A serious bidder will focus on what’s important and the commentary is just background noise. Maybe the trolls occasionally help uncover questionable tactics/info whatever, so they serve a function in some respect. Just my thoughts on the matter.

I'm not out to validate BaT. And clearly don't follow all the cars on there. Nor want to. You may be correct or are correct in what you see/read.
I do know, having listed two cars on BaT, they were much more thorough checking out the paperwork, cars, even seller; than major auction houses and dealers (except one) that I used in the past. Sold many of my high-end cars over many years as a reference. Like everything else, if the seller submits questionable data and photos, it may be difficult. So, the buyer (like us) needs to do our due diligence too.
Again, not related to you, I wish BaT could control some of the idiotic comments by those that don't know the car and just want to seem important.
It truly dilutes the prudent interaction between the prospective buyers and the seller.
