Second day of the season and decided to take a day trip to Watkins. At the lunch break I went one soft from neutral on the front sway and seemed to balance out the car better. They have new curbing at the entrance to the bus stop so that was a big part of the day seeing the best way to do that.

I went to my 1st track day, Lime Rock Park with PCA on 4/26. I took my E46 M3 and was in a sea of 911's, Cayman's & Boxster's, it was quite fun. I met a ton of cool people there including @hbdunn and it was super fun to have my BMW on track with all sorts of Porsche's from a long hood 912E to brand new GT3RS. Here is a few pics of my out of place BMW among tons of beautiful Porsches, maybe one day I'll take my 996 to a HPDE although the M3 performed very well and held its own on track. Some short videos on track from my Instagram

Old school/vintage group apperently....we had to send a check in as they have no web foot print. U may have to be a solo driver for this one?

Also a larger group of 996s will be there 7/1-2 with Mass Tuning

Nice to meet you Ron, looks like Jeff got you up to speed. Lime Rock is a great first time track, so many laps and pretty easy to memorize.

Yes very nice to put a face to the name Brad. Jeff was a great instructor, nice guy too. Lots of people have been saying that to me about Lime Rock being a great 1st track, another PCA member at the DE said they wish they did LRP first before WGI as a 1st track.

Not paying attention to faster cars behind you when entering the track.
