i just spotted a 997 test car in Marina del Rey. (approx. 9:10 am) while out for a walk.

did the sprint back to the house for my camera, but the car was gone by the time i returned.

So, if you are in the LA area and see a black car that looks like a 996 (the headlights and tail lights are disguised with tape) and a black Boxster , both with Georgia plates....zoom up for a closer look at the next generation.

I saw pics of those cars on a 996 forum somewhere. The guy was driving down the Vegas strip though, but indicated that they had Georgia manufactuter plates. Maybe they are doing some warm weather testing or something????
