Radar Hardwire / Phone Connector
I'm working on hardwiring in a V1 to my 996 cab. All my searching led me to go the route of the phone connector in the center stack, but I can't find it. A few pics are below. Thoughts on where this thing might be hiding?

I think mine was tucked down hear the carpet.
I found the other connector end with bare wire on eBay.
It powers my USB outlets and my GoPro & XGPS.
My V1 radar detector is powered by my OBDII so I have speed enabled warning mute.

How are you running the V1 off OBDII?
Thanks for the help.

Here are a couple of pictures of the connector (and the other end that I bought off eBay from Becker Auto Sound) from the driver side.

The plug comes from back under the dash.
I hope the pics help.

The big rectangular plug is what you’re looking for.

When I was daily driving, I hated constantly muting my V1 while sitting in stop and go traffic.
But if I turned down my volume, or turned it off, I would forget to set it back to loud (or on) when I got to open freeway.
I now have it set to auto-mute at below 65mph.
If I'm going slower than that I rarely need warnings.
Plus you do get a full volume blip before it mutes, so you're not completely unprotected.
I have a second SAVVY that I plan to put in my minivan for vacations(along with my second V1)...if/when we get to take a vacation again.

My V1 is mounted via a Blend Mount.
I also have the remote display which also plugs into the SAVVY.
My remote display is just below my tachometer.
Actually it is visible when driving, but just barely in this picture.

There is a good photo of the phone connector in this thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...-used-for.html

Problem solved! Thanks for all the help!
For whatever reason, my phone connector was jammed down the passenger side carpet below where the triangular trim piece pulls away. I had to do some manipulating to get it out, but once it came out I was able to run everything without issue.
I’m going to see if the V1 Gen 2 is better with the false warnings and then think about SAVVY if it gets annoying like V1 Gen1 could be.
Thanks again for the help.
