Default Window issues 01 cab

Timing on the window drop on passenger door was a bit off so thinking outer handle micro switch. Then the window would not go up or down with the main window switch. Tested the switch and it was not the issue. Thinking door locking mechanism. So I have replaced both the micro switch and locking mech and no luck. I hear a kind of faint click when trying to lower or raise the window with the main switch. Any idea on whether it is the window motor or regulator? Need to order parts so I can get my daily driver back on the road.

Update: just tested the motor and it only spins in one direction. Clicks when you push button to go the other way. Guessing I need an expensive new motor :-( Went ahead and ordered the regulator too. While it is all apart, why not

I changed the regulator in my right hand door...according to my indy, the regulators fail with much more frequency than any any other item. If you DIY, look for videos on youtube, they help. Remember if you disconnect the airbag and have the battery connected, you'll have to deal with an error code to erase afterwards. You could have a jammed regulator which is preventing the motor from reversing....

Motor turned out bad as it would only turn one way when disconnected from the regulator. Apparently only worked in the up direction. Found a NOS unit on eBay for $279. saved a ton of $s and a 3-5 week wait for shipment from Germany. Got lucky on that one.
