Default 996 GT3 CATS needed

Where can I get a set of used or new cats for the 996 gt3 at a reasonable price?

The fabspeed sport 200 cell cats are not doing the trick for passing readiness monitors based on California standards.

I know this is another car forum, but look at this thread https://forums.vwvortex.com/showthre...=sensor+spacer . I think this is a common issue with 200cel cats in general. Seems like this hack may do the trick to get the post cat O2 sensors to read what they are expecting to see.

Depending on who you have do the smog check...you can still fail based on the visual. No ARB approval number stamped on the housing. PO owner installed a K&N Intake (now replaced with oem 3.8 intake) and my smog inspector didn't want to pass me, even with the sticker on the intake with the approval number.

Should have turn him into the BAR, the K&N is approved by CARB.

Rumor has it that a 996 recently passed the TX emission test without having any cats.
I think I heard it has these:
https://www.fabspeed.com/universal-9...nverters-pair/

There's no visible inspection requirements in TX.
