Confused. OP - you post that PPI was done and bore scoped.

Just cylinder #6 was done in the PPI. Should have been more specific earlier. Shop had turned it back over to the dealer already.

Why would they scope only one (#6)? I'd pass! Once it's scored, it doesn't get better...
My motor with 50K mile's was 205-210 if I recall

Aboslute numbers for compression do not matter "that" much. So 210 is not better than 180 if it were two different cars, done at two different times, by two different mechanics, under two different atmospheric condition. But, the wide range of numbers from lowest 170 to highest 200 psi is a little telling. Those are not bad numbers, just not as good as 180-180-180-180-170-180 across.

Yes, my point was the narrow range on my used motor as a good example...170-200 is concerning.
