When Traffic Pro comes with the car, where is the GPS antenna placed? Is it mounted outside the car, or somewhere on the dash, or where? I am getting ready to install one.

The GPS antenna installs under the red flasher for the alarm system, at the front of the windshield-dash intersection.

Also plan on getting very small ratchet to remove the screws for the flasher. I didn't and couldn't get them out so I said screw it opened up the vent covers and ran it where there was a very slight space, it tooke me about 45 minutes, a lot of swearing and so many cuts on my forearm they are not funny!! It looks like a dog attacked my arm!!!

BTW, will the speed and reverse wires be on the plug behind the dash when I put the new unit in, or will I have to find them in the car and wire them as per the Boxster instructions?

The speed wire is in the harness...its is provided to the radio for the GAL function (speed sensitive volume). The reverse you have to run yourself, you can tap it off the reverse light if need be...

I just tapped the ground for the reverse, also since there is a sub out if you're using an aftermarket amp you need to add a remote turn on to the harness- real fun.
