Fuel pressure regulator up- or downgrade hmm
So I may or may not be killed for asking such question on here, BUT...
On my 996 3.4l engine the FPR is the common VAG type regulator, set to 3.8 bar. This costs about $180 on the different websites, so my question is as following... why should i not replace a faulty FPR with the 4 bar VAG type that cost $20-30? Would it be such a bad idea?
