Default Help with part identification

Can anyone tell me what belongs on the bottom of my 2002 c2 front bumper (see pic) and is there a part number? I've searched high and low and can't seem to find it on any part diagrams.

Is that a genuine or after market bumper? Have never seen that before

It is a genuine, stock 2002 996 bumper. I believe an air diverter is supposed to go there. My car feels especially "floaty" after 75mph. I think this piece helps to keep the air from pushing up on the front end.

^^^ Nahhhhhh... If the front end feels floaty check your suspension, alignment, tire pressures etc... it's not due to a phantom "splitter". Actually the front bumper of the '02 has an integrated splitter already - it's certainly possible that something goes in those slots, but don't expect it to fix your "floaty" issue... Good luck
