Default Spark plugs reading

Hi

I just did my spark plugs change and I would like ask more experienced owners here.
I know you guys have a lot of experience and Im not used to read spark plugs on a 4 cycles engine.

What do you guys think?

The plugs have 20000kms on them.

Im wondering what can cause the ash deposits and if I should do something about it?

Is the engine consuming an excessive amount of oil? Usually ash comes from additives in oil and/or gasoline. If the engine has high mileage, possibly valve guides are worn??

Yup, and most fuel additive have color to it and will see it on the plugs.

The car consume a little bit of oil.
its not always the same sometimes I do have to top it off a little bit.
For example during 1000kms it wont take any oil but for another 1000kms it can take up to 400ml.
I verify the oil level once per 2 weeks.
I did top off the level for 400ml before doing another 500kms and no oil was burned.
The car sat for few months in storage and the level was the same when I took it out.

I never add additive to fuel or oil except for Sta-Bil in gas for winter storage.
As for fuel I use Shell 91 octane.

Hi

Ive ask some question around it seems that theses residues are perfectly nornal for a week-end car not pushed over 5500rpms...
I do not push the car enough so the plugs dont enter in what I can call the "self cleaning zone".
Ill try some good runs before changing the pkugs next time and will see if the deposits are cleaned.
I guess a good highway run at 5500 and more for a couple minutes will change the look!

Once you start the engine make sure you drive it enough to fully warm it up.

As always yes! I drive the car for a minimum of 30 mins when I use it.
I start the engine, put my seat belt and drive under 3000rpms until the engine is at operating temp for 5-10 mins.

When I store nice cars,, I fill them with alcohol free fuel and add the stabil, when its time to drive it,
I unhook the fuel line andd a hose and jumper the pump relay and drain the fuel in to my daily..
The less air in the fuel tank the better, oxygen reacts with the fuel blends and ages the fuel.

My GM mini suv will run on crap just fine..
