Stuck on the choice between these two wheels - BBS E88 and CCW Classics. Both have their pros/cons.
BBS are more expensive, perhaps rightly so, but offer less customizability and offer a less aggressive profile with their smaller front lips. However they have a tried and true build quality, whereas I've heard CCW's reputation has gone downhill a bit since they were bought out by Weld? Mocked up some photoshops based on other members rides:
E88:
CCW Classics:
Both sets offer roughly the same size/offset combos. What are your thoughts? Anyone have first hand experience with either or both?
In your photo the car with the CCW's looks nicer - lower offset, meatier tires... and I really like the custom front lip. You can't go wrong with either. BBS fit the 996 era look too.

That's the thing... those two sets are very similar in size/offset and tires. The concave shape of the CCWs and the apparent larger front lip do a lot for stance - whereas the e88s are more convex in shape, but their spoke style is more aggressive and angular. I agree, they do fit the time period of the car and should look timeless. Resale value on them doesn't hurt either!

Between these two it's a no-brainer in my opinion: BBS. But it seems like neither of these is a perfect fit for you. Have you taken a look at the HRE 540's?
