Unhappy Need help with Lid access?

Dead battery again.

On the 2002 996s does anyone know how I can access either of the two lids?

I heard on the prior 996 models that there is a cable hidden under the fender liner of the pass. side front wheel well. Can anyone confirm if this is still the case?

I know about the battery terminals but for some reason I can't get that to work after trying everything...

Thanks

If you remove the fuse panel cover (near the clutch pedal) there's instructions on how to do it.

Thanks for your reply Poursha,

I tried that already but to no avail =(

I'll try it again tonight, turning the key and then trying to use the unlock buttons.

You can also stick a 12 volt chager into your lighter to give enough juice to pop the lid. Worked for me.

Thanks for all of your replies.

I messed around for this for a couple of days. Tonight I tried plugging into the cig lighter socket and it worked like a charm.

Now I need a new battery, thanks again!
