I like both of mine but the red reflector looks great on the 4S don't think it would look good on the Turbo but I also think I have the best color on each one for the model wouldn't look as good if they where switched around.

I have owned a 996.2 C4S as well as a 997.2 C4S and now a 991.1 Turbo S and honestly, the 996 has the best looking rear end of them all, hands down...
It's funny how automotive design works -- for me at least. I'm always slow to embrace a new design, but once i do, those a few generations before it start to look classic, when before, they looked modern. I think the 996 is there right now. I've always thought the late 80's 930 was THE best looking 911 of all time, but nowadays, it's starting to look old/outdated. Don't get me wrong, I still think it's a GORGEOUS design, but now that we're 40 years past it, the 996 is now the one that looks "appropriately classic."

Anyway you slice it, I totally agree -- I admire the C4s's rear every chance i get

i love my 996 4s and find the back end hard to resist looking at. that said, i find it amazing how dramatically different the car looks when you move even slightly away from the dead on rear view, almost night and day different:

I find it fascinating that from the back the top section looks so small while the hips jet out a foot. If you look from the side, you just don't see it the hips but then other areas shine.
