Default Sun Visor

Hi all,

2004 C4S Cabriolet.
The driver's side Sunvisor cover broke off. Just the part that opens and closes.
Can someone provide a part number and/or source for a Porsche or OEM replacement?

Thank you.

You can get the part from any Porsche dealer, they can look up the number. It's not a difficult job, i had to replace both of mine on my cab when i got it.Couple of solder connections.

Sunset, Suncoast Porsche. Got mine from Scottsdale Porsche. Any dealer can get them.

Probably not the same but the new passenger side visor that I bought for my 2000 C4 Cab from my local dealer was 996-731-032-19-A12.

It cost me $278.66 plus tax. Ridiculously high but I was too lazy and too much in a rush to just buy it. Saved $ by installing it myself -- only 2 torx bolts. Didn't have to solder/connect anything to get the light to for the visor to work. Pay & play. One of the few mechanical things that I care to tackle these days. LOL!

I'm sure you can do better on the price if you shop around.

I bought two vanity mirrors two years ago at $100 ea from Scottsdale Porsche. Part no's 996 731 903 01 01C (gray interior). Looks like both sides were the same part numbers.
04 C2 cab.

Be careful closing the top, if the visors are up they can be broken.

That's it! Thank you. How easy was it to install? Doesn't look like it needs to be soldered. Or does it?

If you want the mirrors to light up when the cover is opened you have to connect the wiring. I soldered my connections so they wouldn't come loose, if i recall But that was two years ago and many repairs later so my brain could very likely be cloudy. Not a difficult replacement. I actually removed the visors (they just slide off the swing arm) to work on my bench. Interesting note, the power to the visor mirrors comes from the clip the visor swings into to lock.
