Question how far up does your clutch "catch"?

my new turbos clutch catches about 3/4 of the way up. my c4s clutch catches about 1/3 of the way up.

does my turbo have a problem?

well the turbo uses a power assisted setup, whereas I don't think the c4s uses the turbo setup, but the other carerra parts which might explain the difference in take up and feel.

My 2001 C4 clutch is really hard to push down and has much more 'feedback' than my 04 C4S. It was really drastic, I couldn't believe it. I drove the 01 the other day after a few weeks of driving the 04 and I had to struggle to push the clutch down... weird.

Well, I really didn't answer your question, but I used this post to interject my own irrelevant experience... sweet.

my 2001 C4 clutch catches about 3/4 of the way up, like your turbo. the only reason i push it down further is so i can start the car!

Your turbo and C2 have different transmissions so you may be comparing apples and oranges. I'd worry if your engagement point changes in one car and not worry much about the difference between the two cars.
