Was planning on scoping my cylinders this weekend and already have a wireless borescope similar to what Jake uses. However, just watched Jake's video on scoping again, and he linked a borescope w/ a 5.5mm diameter. Mine is 8mm...is that too large to fit in thru the sump? Thanks in advance-

I tried with my 8mm seems too rigid because of the dismeter, you can't bend it round enough, plus scared of getting it stuck, i managed only to see the middle cylinders as you have to go in there but to see the others you have to bend the cam to get over to the end cylinders, it's a skill I'm telling you, plus top tip, drain your oil , pull the pan then leave it for a day with some cardboard under to catch the drips or you'll be eating engine oil!!

yep, I had the same experience....went and tried with the 8mm scope I already have & could only get to the middle ones as well. Guess I’ll be picking up the smaller one from Amazon. Thx for the inputs
