Old License Plate Usage Ideas?
So I sold my Targa today, hoping to pick up a 996TT within the next few weeks/months. Now I have another set of plates to add to my collection of cars I've sold throughout the years. I probably have 75 or so. Any creative ideas on what to do with these? I've seen where people have cut them up to make words and such. Looking for something different to maybe accentuate the garage.

If I had 75 license plates I would just cover a wall or two with them. Keep them whole. Then you can look at that wall and every plate will bring back fond (hopefully) memories of the things you did in that car.

My grandfather worked for a county as a grader operator and equipment operator for many many years, in their state the plates were only good for one year and you got new ones every year.. He would occasionally get called to help the DMV get rid of all the old plates, One year he bought them for the scrap price and used them to shingle the roof of his barn.. about 25 different colors..
When it rained or hailed, that roof made some serious noise..
