Default Rusting wheel nuts

I hear this is a common problem for Porsches. My fronts have started to rust and it does not look too good. Does anyone know how to prevent/fix this without replacing the nuts?

This was a common warranty replacement. Not sure as of July 1st. But you must be out of warranty anyway. Jeff

I am thinking of getting 5mm spacers for all 4 corners. Are you happy with yours and where did you get them?

Andy, i got mine from the same place that did my wheels ( wheel enhancement here in los angeles). these were not Porsche OEM, but given their reputation (wheel enhancement) i'm sure they're just fine, and a bit less expensive than the genuine Porsche parts. i think Booth Design (6speedonline.com sponsor) does a hecuva job in the spacers market, maybe one of the best. i'd give him a holler, he is very prompt in his response times. here is the website

http://www.boothedesign.com/spacers.html

i would have got mine thru him but it was easier having it done when the wheels were put on.

regards

I just had my lugnuts replaced a couple of weeks ago because they were rusting. For me it was under warranty. You might try and see if the dealer will give you a break.
