Default Right side indicator light socket...

Anyone have any idea what the part number for the right side indicator light socket is? Porsche dealership has no idea, neither does my local repair shop.

The hey metal bracket snapped so I’m without turn indicator, but the light itself works fine. Obviously not the bulbs but what the bulb mounts into.

Any help would be appreciated.

cheers

No i believe that is the housing for the high beam or driving light. The part I’m looking for is for the turn signal.

what I’m looking for is the Porsche Turn Signal Bulb Socket. For a 2001 996. All I can find is for 2002 and up.

it looks like it’s got a Mercedes logo on it in the pic so I think maybe it’s a shared pet. Either way it’s not on any diagram.

I had a problem with the wires on the same harness you're looking for. I searched EVERYWHERE, and even kept in contact with my local Porsche dealer's service department. He searched for a week and neither of us could find a part # at all. I ended up fixing the wires myself rather than buying a new one, since it could not be found. My suggestion would be to go to Car-Part.com. It's a database of salvage yards and find some that have Boxsters/996's and give them a call and send them your picture. I think that'd be the only way to get it.
